On Monday, Sept. 21st, this little guy J. Von will be going to the children's hospital in Minneapolis to get a dose of on going chemo therapy to keep cancer in check. It was a great desire I had when he left the 'other' time to sit down on the river bank that runs beside our house and fish. There were a lot of limbs, which hampered any kind of fly fishing, and with bamboo poles, it was really a joke. But little rainbow trout didn't know the difference, and we did catch, okay, so they weren't that big. He and his mom Lisa brightened our days here in Mexico and we already miss him. I'm going to leave those 'little shoes' he left behind...it is my reminder that he was here. We laughed, and sometimes we had fun 'remembering'. He does this game well. I'm looking forward to having some MORE memories with other grandkids in October when we visit the USA.
